Please check some basic information we will discuss during our video conference
1. Scanning to draw part 3D and 2D design
If you need to use these parts every day, I suggest you find a local design company to make the 3D scanning, it will take 3 days in China, but you must ship it here and ship back to you, will take about (3~5) x2 days.
2. 3D printing prototype to verify design
After getting part 3D drawing, we will 3D printing prototype to verify the assembly. It will take 3 days. And ship back to you to check.
3. Injection Mold
After you release the prototype, to produce thousands of parts, you need to develop injection molds first, it means you need to invest the mold cost first, rough mold price will be offered after you are sending part 3D or putting a ruler beside parts and show me the dimensions and thickness.
4. Part unit price
Part unit price will be quoted according to Qty each batch, plastic raw material and company logo information. Once the mold was done, we will ship you the sample for approval, if you release it, we will start production, you can order any qty from 1~1000pcs, just need to pay a set up cost. For example, set up cost is 100USD for 1 set up, you are going to produce 50pcs, price would be 50xunit price + 100USD.
5. Plastic raw material
We cannot tell which raw material is it by visual checking the sample, you need to tell me what usage condition of this part? Temperature range? Require Impart resistance? Scratch resistance? Chemical resistance? We will recommend raw material accordingly.
6. Logo marking
For the logo engraving, do you want to mark it deboss inside the part surface or do a printing in flat? This first option price is lower.
7. Shipping cost
Don’t forget the shipping cost by air, for samples and parts, it usually take 50USD to for samples, parts shipping cost for 1000pcs need to be calculated according to volume.
8. Timing
3D scanning +3D printing prototype – 1 week.
Mold developing – 3~4 weeks.
1000 Part production – 1 week.
One Journey shipping – 3~ 5 days.
